His estate distribution reflects his deep appreciation for those who served him diligently over the years.​

Generous Allocations to Household Staff

Tata’s will earmarked approximately ₹3.5 crore for his household and office staff, ensuring financial support for individuals across various roles, from domestic helpers to office assistants. Notable allocations include:​

  • Rajan Shaw (Cook): Received over ₹1 crore, which encompasses a loan waiver of ₹51 lakh. ​
  • Subbaiah Konar (Butler): Allocated ₹66 lakh, including a loan waiver of ₹36 lakh. ​
  • Delnaz Gilder (Secretary): Granted ₹10 lakh. ​
  • Raju Leon (Driver): Received ₹1.5 lakh, along with an ₹18-lakh loan waiver. ​
  • Hoshi D Malesara (Tata Trusts Consultant): Allocated ₹5 lakh. ​
  • Devendar Katamollu (Alibaug Bungalow Caretaker): Granted ₹2 lakh. ​
  • Deepti Divakaran (Personal Assistant): Received ₹1.5 lakh. ​
  • Gopal Singh and Pandurang Gurav (Peons): Each awarded ₹50,000. ​
  • Sarfaraz Deshmukh (Helper): Benefited from a ₹2-lakh loan waiver. ​

  • Shantanu Naidu (Executive Assistant): Had his ₹1 crore loan for MBA studies at Cornell University waived. ​
  • Jake Malite (Neighbor): Received a waiver for a ₹23.7 lakh loan taken for MBA studies at Warwick Business School, UK. ​

Provision for Beloved Pet
