The development of the Smart Lipstick® is the culmination of a meticulous seven-year research and development partnership between Grupo Boticário and CESAR. The project brought together a diverse team of 42 professionals, including engineers, product designers, user experience experts, and diversity specialists. Their collective expertise led to the creation of a device that seamlessly integrates artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, and robotics to deliver precise, automated lipstick application. ​

  3. Robotic Application: A robotic arm applies the chosen shade of lipstick with exceptional accuracy, following the predefined lip contours.​

The entire process is completed in approximately two minutes and can be initiated with simple button commands, making it accessible to users with varying degrees of mobility. ​
